The 3D Kabah is a realistic 3D model of the Kabah, and the surrounding mosque (the Masjid Al Haram – Sacred Mosque). The mosque is the holiest place on earth for Muslims and all able Muslims are required to visit the mosque as part of the Hajj pilgrimage once in their life.
The ‘Qibla’, for any point of reference on the Earth, is the direction to the Kaba. In Muslim religious practice, supplicants must face this direction at prayer. For the Muslims, the Kaba is a focal point for prayer. It is large masonry structure roughly the shape of a cube. In fact, the name Kaaba comes from the Arabic word meaning “cube”. It is made of granite from the hills near Mecca. [3D Kaba I made out of three pictures.
